Congratulations! You've broken Aparna's Fourth Wall

Scriptwriting

The video opens with multiple close-up cut shots of my work space. With the final shot, the camera zooms out to show me opening my laptop as the morning light slips through partially open blinds. I dramatically turn my revolving chair and start speaking into the camera.

“Brands managers don't love me for my below average sense of humour or above average writing skills.”

Cut shot, and we see me walking into the kitchen to make a cup of tea.

“They love me because I GET them and their brand” I grab water and pour it into the utensil.

“My ideas take the shape of their brief.” A quick shot of me joining my hands in front of a Bruce Lee poster with his quote “Be like water, my friend.”

“I understand both, the basics and nuances of script writing.” We hear this as we see a close-up shot of me putting tea and sugar into the water.

“I give them a mix of what they WANT, and what I know they NEED to make an impact” A mid-shot of me smelling the tea steam appears as I say this.

“And then of course, a personal touch…” Close-up shot of a jar labeled 'Aparna's Unique Direction, Visualization, Life Experiences' as I take out 1 tsp of masaala.

Cut shot of me straining the tea and going to sit back in my chair “…only to deliver something so finely-made, they'll never end up having enough of it.”

I rotate back and start playing an animated video I'd created for 'A Cool Brand'. I look at the camera, that's to my side now, and say “And if that isn't refreshing, you don't know what is.”

I push the cup of tea towards the camera before I resume watching that video. The light is shining brightly though the curtains at this point as a morning breeze makes the curtains flutter. The focus shifts from me to the steaming hot tea.
